Welcome to RSPCA Charity Shop – Leamington Spa

A bit about the branch:
South and East Warwickshire RSPCA consisted of four areas: Leamington Spa, Rugby, Coventry and Nuneaton with one inspector for each area. The only way to contact the inspector was to call their home telephone at set times, otherwise a tape message gave advice.

One of the original inspectors for this area arranged to hire a room in the Salvation army building on Russell Street this enabled the branch secretary back then to open up in the morning each day to the public for enquiries.

From there due to a donation from a committee member it was possible to move the branch to a small cottage on Regent Grove. This allowed the branch to have a base to work from and have a small shop to gain funds for the branch.

In April 1961RSPCA Head quarters opened call centres all over the country, the premises that the branch had was suitable for this purpose and we became the 3rd call centre to open in the country.

The branch later moved to their current premises on Regent Street which is a big source of raising money for the animals we help.

Our shop is now open!

Do come and pay us a visit and perhaps buy an item that will help us in our charity work. We have a wide range of items, many new or nearly new, that could come in handy around the house or make the ideal gift.

We are affiliated to the RSPCA name but we are a independent committee run branch that relies on the support and the donations of the public to perform the work we do for all animals in our area.
